Founded in 2010, MoneyCafe Advisors was created to serve individuals and families navigating financial lives across cultures, with a particular focus on Japanese, Japanese American, and U.S.–Japan connected clients. We understand that financial decisions are deeply personal and often shaped by cultural values, family expectations, and international considerations.

Meet Suzue Sato, Founder
Suzue Sato founded MoneyCafe Advisors LLC in 2010, inspired by the global concept of financial planning needs without borders or level of the economic advancement during the travel to 23 countries, and the unique needs to serve the Japanese residing in the U.S., the Japanese American community considering retirement, individuals facing the emotional and financial challenges of widowhood and divorce, as well as Inter-culture marriage couples.

Suzue holds the ChFC® designation from The American College and completed the Certified Financial Planner®coursework through the College for Financial Planning. Her early career includes 22 years as International Liaison for the Japan Association for Financial Planners, during which she played a pivotal role in introducing the CFP® designation in Japan. She also served for six years on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd., helping to shape global financial planning certification.
From 2014 to 2017, Suzue served as President of the Japanese Business Association of the Rockies (JBAR), leading the organization's revitalization.

Suzue was born and raised in Japan, and educated in the U.S., is bilingual, likes reading, walking, and spontaneous fancy cooking.
